In most cases, we will file hospital-related medical claims with your insurance. However, our filing of claims with your insurance company does not guarantee coverage. You will receive a bill for any outstanding balance.

If you have a managed care plan, you may need prior authorization or pre-certification for treatment. Please discuss this in advance with your doctor and contact your insurance company to ensure coverage. In some cases, managed care plans will not pay for hospital costs if you do not pre-certify before coming to the hospital.
Please
note your hospital bill does not include
charges for your personal doctor, surgeon,
anesthesiologist, pathologist, emergency
doctor, radiologist, or other physician
assistants. You will receive separate bills
from these doctors.
